Digital Twin City
Physical building tiles connected to a live city-planning simulation.

Interactive table concept
The Challenge
Turn physical building placement into a responsive city simulation. The game needs to track tile identity and position, manage a shared budget and show the trade-offs of city-planning decisions as players move pieces.
Our Contribution
For Digital Twin City, our work focused on the core foundation of a phygital city-planning game. Players place physical building tiles on a table and see their city respond on screen.
We connected TUIO/OSC tracking to Unity gameplay, budget handling and real-time city scoring. The simulation evaluates the environment, economy, health and safety, culture and education, and access through the road network.
What we delivered
- TUIO/OSC tile tracking and Unity integration
- Placement and removal linked to budgets and refunds
- Real-time city and district quality-of-life scoring
- Road-network connectivity and service access
- Configurable building values and simulation tuning
